Camps

We organized the first Hand to Hand summer camp, which comes as a complement and continuation of the Hand to Hand- Education through Sport! project, an Erasmus+ project financed by the European Union. This camp is an educational, sports and survival camp for children and young people.

The objectives of the camp were:

• Educational goal – development of practical (survival, orientation, first aid), social (teamwork, communication) and sports skills.
• The values we promote – respect for nature, discipline, perseverance, spirit of adventure.

The activity program was diverse and adapted to the age categories of the participants

• Structured by days and time intervals – alternating between demanding activities and moments of relaxation.
• Educational component – theoretical workshops (orientation with a compass, map reading, safety rules in nature).
• Practical component – applied exercises: building a shelter, lighting a fire safely, filtering water.
• Sports activities – hiking, climbing, endurance tests and Hand to Hand Sport trainings.
• Team games and socialization – for the development of interpersonal skills.
• Evening – campfire, stories, evaluation of the day.
